Have been visiting the NGV for a spate of studies.

Colours and radials

George Romney study

Went to the NGV with mum and did drawing practice. Turns out you can draw whatever you like in the permanent exhibition (Anna got swiftly accosted by guards when she got out a notebook in the Vienna section). So, yep, went to the 1700s European section. Lots of portraits everywhere, my favourite. Found a seat in front of George Romney's Leigh family portait and drew a bit of a study. One of the guards said you can bring in colour pencils and that the front desks has foldable chairs to borrow. Shall avail myself of that next time.

Platform

This is the place I meet my family and also where I farewell them. Sometimes looking down that platform is the happiest thing in the world. Sometimes it's not. I drew this while waiting for my Mum's train to arrive.

Face exercise
